Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet and greet with our Company driver guide who gives you a transfer to your booked hotel of residence in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale forest national Park
Wake up for an early morning breakfast at your hotel, later meet with your driver guide and set off your journey to Kibale forest national park. Along the way, enjoy a stopover at the Uganda Equator, here you get a chance to stretch, buy some refreshments, crafts or take photos before you proceed with the journey. Enjoying lunch Enroute in before you proceed with journey to Kibale forest national park. Upon arrival to the park, drive directly to your booked lodge, check-in and head out Kanyanchu headquarters. Here you join the ranger guides who take you to the starting point for the guided nature walk around the Bigodi Swamp which takes 2 or 3 hours. Later return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and community visit
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and head out to the park Headquarters for briefing, here you are grouped into group and assigned a ranger guide, later walk straight to the starting point at Kanyanyu and begin the trek. The guided chimpanzee trekking experience takes around 2-3 hours and later you return back to the Lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon walk to starting point for cultural walk in the community. Here, grabs a chance to meet with the local people, learn more about their culture, explore their community projects like craft making and support them by purchasing yourself a craft Item.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
Wake up early for an early morning breakfast, check out of the Lodge and begin your journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park enjoying lunch enroute along the way. Enjoy a drive through the mesmerizing rolling ever green Hills of Kabale- also known as the “Switzerland of Uganda” plus the scenic beauty of triangular summits of the Virunga Volcano ranges of DR-Congo and Rwanda. Upon arrival, check in at your booked Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest Impenetrable forest national park
After an early morning breakfast, get ready with your packed lunch boxes join your driver guide and head out for briefing at the park headquarter offices for briefing about the gorilla trekking exercise. You are grouped in groups of eight, assigned a park ranger guide and walk to the starting point to begin the trek. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest can take about 30 minutes to half hours of a day depending on the location of the gorilla and trekking requires some level of Physical fitness since Mountain gorillas are located in High altitude areas. After locating a gorilla family, you are allowed to spend one with it while taking photos, learning more about their lifestyle behavior in their natural environment. Later Return to the Lodge to Lodge for a relaxing evening or opt for the Batwa community visit where you get a chance to encounter with their amazing cultures that is expressed out through the organized traditional cultural songs and dance performances. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National park in Rwanda
Wake up early and enjoy your morning breakfast, later join your driver guide for transfer to Volcanoes national park where you drive through triangular Mountainous areas. Upon arrival check in for lunch, dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.
Day 7: Mountain gorilla trekking In Volcanoes national park
After your morning breakfast at the lodge, get ready with your packed lunch box and head out to the park headquarter offices for briefing about the dos and don’ts while trekking. You are joined by the park ranger guides and tracker that take you through the trekking exercise. Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park, takes you about 30 minutes to half a day since gorillas like moving from place to another in search for food. After locating a gorilla family spend one hour with them and return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer from Volcano to Kigali
After your leisure breakfast, check out of the lodge and join your driver-guide for departure to Kigali city. Upon arrival enjoy lunch and head out for a city tour to explore the beautiful Kigali capital city of Rwanda. later after the breath-taking experience, your driver-guide takes you to Kigali airport to catch up with your booked flight back home or to your next safari destination.
